The experimental 2D animation film "Sequoia" accompanies Zanka on his way through the labyrinth of his psyche. Trapped in his own head, he is haunted and triggered by children wearing animal masks. His fear and paranoia take on tangible forms, while he gets deeper and deeper into a medina of alleys and dead ends. Finally, he ends up in a prison cell in a high tower surrounded by a a sequoia forest. Here, various dreams take him back to childhood situations and he manages to face his fears. After he once again encounters three animals he realizes that the door to his cell has always been open. The two channels of the film support the parallelism of the real state and mental processes.
